Branded shirts and trousers – Odd men out

Take any clothing brand in India, you can get shirts in 40, 42, 44 cm and trousers in 30, 32, 34, 36 inch waist sizes. But you can hardly get a 33-inch trouser or a 43 cm shirt.

Major Indian textile players like Arvind Mills and Raymond have multiple brands in the premium segment itself. Why can’t they create a separate brand with odd size shirts and trousers only?

Will someone stitch different and standout from the even sized crowd?
