TVS Motors launched its Scooterette (sub 100cc scooters) TVS Scooty Pep+ with balancing/training wheels and are actively promoting it thru Television commercials.
No talks about advanced technology or superior mileage, yet it is able to connect well with its core segment – teenage girls (and also their parents) assuring safety as they learn to drive their first two-wheeler.
Again as its the college opening season, this move will help to increase the sales, as the girls now have the reason to pester their parents for a two wheeler saying that they can learn to drive safely.
What a simple strategy!
My neice is asking for this bike. She is studying 4th std.
I wonder if I can ride it with a 4-wheeler license now. I don’t have a 2-wheeler license 🙁
